Dr. Galya Lodish, MD
Galya S. Lodish, MD, MPH is a board-certified Internist who did her residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA, and has practiced general medicine for over twenty years. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, her medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston and her master’s degree in public health from Harvard School of Public Health. She expanded her practice from general medicine to include research on aging and longevity in 2020, when she joined the Institute for Aging Research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Lodish received her ketamine training at the Ketamine Training Center in 2022. In 2025, she received a certificate from the William Alanson White Institute, from their intensive online psychotherapy training program. Her medical practice is now entirely focused on mental health, using traditional as well as innovative treatment approaches.
She also specializes in ketamine-assisted therapy, KAP, combining evidence-based science with empathy to support individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, among many other conditions. Her approach is respectful, compassionate and curious, and she believes that having a strong therapeutic alliance between patient and doctor is an important, and vital, factor in which deep healing can begin.
With twenty plus years of experience in both traditional medicine and innovative therapeutic approaches, Dr. Lodish creates a safe, supportive environment where healing can unfold naturally. Her holistic perspective honors both the science and the profound human experience of transformation.
